What are the benefits of entering?

There are many benefits to be gained from entering the Croydon Business Excellence Awards.

In addition, the rigorous and impartial entry process, overseen by independent judges with extensive business experience, offers entrants a unique chance to gauge how their business is doing and where they could improve for the future.

What is the deadline for entries?

The closing date for entries is:  5pm, Friday, 15th June 2018

Do I have to pay to enter?

NO, entry to the awards is FREE.

Must my business be located – have a registered address – in Croydon to enter?

Yes, it must have a TRADING/BUSINESS address in the London Borough of Croydon.

Can I enter more than one category?

You can enter up to three different categories.

What types and sizes of business can enter the awards?

Businesses of any sector and size can apply; each entry is judged on its own merits and the evidence provided. Previous winners and commended businesses range from solo entrepreneurs to large companies, across diverse sectors including manufacturing, technology, food and drink, construction, finance, entertainment and leisure, retail and many more.

Can I enter the 2018 awards if I have won an award in a previous year?

If your business won a category award in 2017, then you cannot enter that category in 2018, although you will be able to enter up to three of the other categories. However if you won a category in 2016, or earlier, you are free to enter the same award again this year.

Do I need to pay to attend the awards ceremony at the Gala Dinner & Charity Ball?

Yes, there is a charge – details will be announced soon.

Will I know I‘ve won before I buy tickets?

No, WINNERS will only be announced at the ceremony.
