Good businesses do not operate in isolation and recognise the potential to add commercial and social value to their local communities through practical support, collaboration and investment.
This award is open to businesses with a great approach to corporate social responsibility and can demonstrate they make a real tangible difference in their community.
Please note, this category is not for charities or social enterprises but exclusively for businesses.
Judges will be looking for:
- Reasons why the business has developed a programme within the community.
- Evidence that it makes a real difference in the community.
- Evidence of a great Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
- Examples of where employees are engaged in the community.
- A commitment to diversity within the workforce.
- Evidence of the clear benefits and impact the business has had on the community (financial or in-kind, time and/or resources etc).
