This award celebrates new businesses. The local borough needs business growth; by celebrating new businesses we are fostering a culture in which entrepreneurship is celebrated in our borough.
This award is only open to businesses who have been trading for less than 18 months. (from the date of the launch event)
Judges will be looking for:
- Growth forecast and good governance, and a plan/vision for sustainable business growth. The impact of COVID-19 will be taken into consideration.
- Innovation and market differentiation.
- A commitment to diversity within the current or future planned workforce.
- A commitment to business excellence and adapting to customer trends to future proof your business.
