The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated the importance of business resilience to survive and thrive.
This award recognises those companies who continue to take an outstanding approach to safeguarding their operations and planning for ‘business as usual’ in the event of major disruption such as a cyber attack or losing a key supplier, or employee.
Judges will be looking for:
- Businesses with a continuity plan in place
- Examples of where resilience/continuity plan has already worked
- Excellent staff and customer communications
- Embraced technology in an innovative way
- Trained staff in actions to take if a major disruptive event should occur
